第四届亚洲植物脂质论坛

The 4th ASPL belongs to a series of meetings initiated in 2005 at the University of Tokyo. The aim of this series of meetings is to promote interaction between international researchers in academia and industry. The 2nd ASPL (2007) was also held in Tokyo while the 3rd (2009) was in Yokohama. Professor Norio Murata (Professor Emeritus, National Institute of Basic Biology, Okazaki, Japan) and Professor Chye were instrumental in setting up the ASPL to stimulate plant lipid research in Australasia and beyond. 
 We are expecting about 100 attendees from Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, Europe, North America and Central America. 
 A 2.5-day programme consisting of talks and posters are characteristic of the ASPL. Previous meetings have resulted in very successful exchange of information and establishment of fruitful international collaborations between attendees.
