The Harvard Chinese Life Sciences Symposium is the most influential annual event co-organized by HMS-CSSA and HSPH-CSSA, which draws several hundreds of participants from both the US and China every year since 2012. The symposium covers basic life science research, translational medicine and biopharmaceutical industries, with the goal of encouraging open dialogue and exploring potential collaborations. The conference is organized by Harvard Medical School-Chinese Scientists and Scholars Association (HMS-CSSA) and Harvard School of Public Health-Chinese Students and Scientists Association (HSPH-CSSA). HMS-CSSA a non-profit, science-driven, research-oriented organization. It is dedicated to building a dynamic platform to facilitate communications among its ~2400 scholar and scientist members in Harvard Medical School and the seventeen affiliated hospitals/institutions, and to strengthening multifaceted collaborations among scientists in US and China.
